The company
The start of our activity dates back to 2011, when we were established as the Hungarian manufacturing base of the internationally renowned industrial services giant KAEFER, specifically for the production of custom-made sewn-in thermal insulation jackets, also known as insulation mattresses, which has remained our main profile ever since.
After being the subsidiary of another German company; DFTechnic GmbH for a little over 3 years, in 2023 the company became 100% Hungarian-owned and independent, with complete staff and equipment, still located in Kecskemét.
Over the past decade, we have developed our most important customer base in the global market, mainly in the European Union and especially in Germany, where we have had to meet the most stringent regulations and quality requirements.
The lion's share of our orders are for complete gas and steam turbine insulation systems for the power sector, scrubber filtration system insulations for ocean liner vessels and industrial sound insulation solutions with HeavyFoil.
Maximum effectiveness
The thermal imaging shows the serious difference the application of our sewn-in insulation makes compared to the uninsulated surface - here instead of a 200 °C pipe, we have achieved a hand-warm external insulation surface, while the energy loss is dramatically reduced.
Quality
The quality of the removable thermal insulation jackets produced by Kelvintech Kft. is testified by our long-standing and returning customers as well as our newest customers. The true measure of our quality assurance system is our satisfied customers.
Removable sewn-in insulation mattresses are used in power plants, manufacturing facilities, oil refineries, and onshore and offshore drilling rigs, ocean liners, and utility buildings around the world, among other applications.
They are becoming more common because they have a return period of one to one and a half years, and even shorter on frequently dismantled positions, as the mattresses do not deteriorate from dismantling unlike traditional insulation, and no special skills are required for dismantling and reassembly, making them a more cost-effective and greener solution in the long run.
When designing our insulation mattresses, we take careful account of the specificities of the application we are aware of and prioritise ease of installation and removal.
Our mattresses are supplied with a stainless steel label with serial number and position, so that their original location can be easily identified during installation and subsequent dismantling.
The materials we use are selected on the basis of decades of experience and, in consultation with the customer, we always offer the highest quality within the specification for the target area. If lower cost materials are perfectly feasible for the project, we always offer them to our clients as an option; our aim is 100% customer satisfaction and maximum value for money.
